![]() Yes, that's Fabio's signature on my book This is the book that started it all...When I began writing Comanche Flame, I couldn't think of anything else. I lived this book day and night until I finished it. I saw scenes in my mind while I was driving my kids to school - heard it all, saw it all, felt it all. I don't think I've had quite the same experience with any other book except my first vampire book. For all that I lived and breathed Comanche Flame, it wasn't the first book I sold. Indeed, I think I rewrote it for my editor four or five times before we were both happy with it. Buy Comanche Flame Here: Or Here: Dorchester Publishing Co., Inc. COMANCHE FLAME![]() March 1992 He was a loner, a drifter, a fast gun whose aura of dangerous virility turned pretty heads all across the West. But if his reputation as an outlaw didn’t warn decent women away, his Comanche blood did… He saved Jessica’s life out on the desolate plains, then made her a willing captive of his savage desire. But even when he had left her behind to rejoin his people, Jesse found she could not forget him. Safe and respectable once again, she longed for her once-in-a-lifetime love, knew she would give up everything for just one more night of ecstasy with the man called Dancer. Excerpt... He kissed her again, and yet again, kissed her until she thought her bones would melt from the heat of his lips. And then, abruptly, he released her and sat up. Jesse glared up at Dancer as he sat back on his heels, angry with him because he had stopped, and even more angry with herself because she hadn't wanted him to. "You beast!" she hissed. "You're just like all the others. Worse! I hope that posse catches you and kills you. I hope they hang you from the higest tree. I hope they shoot you a thousand times. I hope..." "That's enough, honey," Dancer drawled, amused by her outburst. "I think I get your drift." ![]() I was doing a booksigning for Comanche Flame at an RWA meeting the day Fabio came to visit. Since he was the cover model on my book, it was a double thrill to see him at the meeting, signing my books. Naturally, I asked him to sign one for me, too. |
